Academic Dialogues: Schools & Universities

In academic settings, I work with students and educators to explore how books function as thinking partners, not syllabus items.

The focus is not on reading techniques or speed, but on how sustained engagement with ideas shapes articulation, synthesis, and intellectual confidence - especially at moments when young people are expected to speak, write, and decide for themselves.

Formats often include:

  • Dialogues with students on books, thinking, and voice
  • Sessions on reading for synthesis rather than memorization
  • Conversations around essays, interviews, and intellectual selfhood
  • Faculty discussions on rebuilding reading culture without guilt or coercion

These sessions are deliberately non-prescriptive. The aim is to restore agency and curiosity - not to impose methods.
